How To Thread A Bobbin On A Viking Sewing Machine

Choosing the right sewing machine can be a very taxing work. You need to consider a number of things before buying one. It might be very difficult to start. There has been so many kinds and brands of them on hand today since its invention on the late nineteen seventies. One of them that has gain popularity is the Viking sewing machines. Manufactured in Huskvana, Sweden, it has been on the market since the past eighteen century. The ones they have are highly recognized because of its durability.

Most of the things you need to know about how to sew confides in the type of the sewing machine you have. There are specific ways which is available for one and may be absent on the other. One of them is how to thread. Knowing how to do it is as important as choosing the appropriate needles and fabrics to use.

The whole process could get more and more difficult, but gradually it will be easy the moment you condition yourself into doing it. You do not need any serious talent and resources at first so just relax. Carefully hold the bobbin cover as you open it on the upper side. That way, it will not go off somewhere.

Open the compartment door of your machine and take the bobbin case. You will know you are right if you will see a thread coming from the side. Check if the lock is tight so that it w not lose your bobbin.

Wind your thread all over the bobbin as much as you need. Press the foot control once you are ready. This time, the instrument will stop if it is packed. Cut the thread after removal.

Insert it on its casing and shove the thread at the end of the case then pull it beneath the tension spring. Keep in mind that it should spin in a clockwise direction once you pulled it in towards the spring. This will also help in avoiding any irregular tension.

Move the thread smoothly on the back of the hook above the bobbin case into the right side. Put everything back in place. Continue clicking until it is in place. Cut it off and close the shuttle door. You may start sewing after that.

Regardless of the equipment you are using, learning its key features is necessary for every sewer. Think about how would you like your work to get done. Your understanding holds a large role in giving you a satisfying result. Be patient in taking time to learn and be familiar with your own equipment. May it be old or new, it does not matter as long as you know how to use them.
